The Legend of Beauty and the Beast 1/5 Scale Nue Art Statue by Taiki Bonus Version 45 cm

Youth and the grotesque. Classic and digital. Taiki's pictorial expression takes shape at 1/5 scale.

“The Legend of Beauty and the Beast” brings Prime 1 Studio together with extraordinary talent in the pursuit of new heights in sculptural art. As the latest addition to the series, the original work “Nue” by illustrator Taiki joins the collection.

Taiki's first solo exhibition, “Taiki Exhibition,” showcased “reproducible paintings” created through digital design, including embossed textures similar to those of oil painting, and produced by printing. Born from a modernized approach to classical techniques, this work serves as the basis for a statue whose motif is a piece depicting a girl huddled next to a grotesque form. Retaining the ornate beauty and unsettling atmosphere of the original work, its meticulously recreated details and textures, along with its sense of spatial depth, have been reconstructed at 1/5 scale.

The enormous Nue captures a supernatural beauty with a meticulous level of detail. A simian face painted in reddish-brown. Feline limbs, resembling those of a tiger, defined by powerful and bulging musculature. Serpentine scales with a smooth and lustrous sheen. Even the back, which was not visible in the original work, has been fully developed in accordance with the visual language of the piece. In contrast, the girl is deliberately sculpted as a doll. Her expression and skin feature a subtly inorganic quality that accentuates the contrast with Nue. The kaleidoscopic eyes they share are depicted with intricate patterns and a wet, realistic-looking shine, inviting you to imagine the connection between them.

The thematic base is inspired by the patterns and golden ornaments of the original background. Its robust design further enhances the presence of the statue.

The fabric poster (B2 variant size) featuring the original work is a special item exclusive to the Bonus Version. Experience Nue in two forms of art: two-dimensional and three-dimensional.

Taiki's pictorial expression, rendered in three dimensions at 1/5 scale. Add this piece to your collection.
