Based on Michael Crichton's novel of the same name, award-winning filmmaker Steven Spielberg and Universal Studios surprised audiences worldwide in 1993 with the theatrical release of Jurassic Park. Continuing the franchise's long-standing success and a collaboration that began in 2017, Iron Studios presents its new "Jurassic Park-Icons" collection, featuring miniature statues on stylized pedestals bearing the franchise's logo. These statues meticulously incorporate the same realistic anatomical and paint details found on Iron Studios' full-scale statues. In addition to providing fans and collectors with an opportunity to expand their collections with new replicas of their favorite dinosaurs, this new line will attract new collectors with an affordable and compact format that impresses with its rich detail and the standard of excellence and quality that are trademarks of Iron Studios. One of the smallest dinosaurs ever discovered, the Compsognathus lived in Europe during the late Jurassic period. Featured in “Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World,” a pack of them attacked Cathy Bowman, the young girl who fed one of the small dinosaurs, which fortunately survived. Later, another pack attacked hunter Dieter Stark when he became lost in the forest of Isla Sorna, but unfortunately, the hunter did not survive. “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” revealed that a population of Compsognathus survived on Isla Nublar, and “Jurassic World: Dominion” saw the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife confirm a sighting of Compsognathus eating garbage in Brazil, in addition to their presence in the United States and Europe. Iron Studios proudly presents its new "Compsognathus Jurassic World - Icons" statue. For the first time with its own stand at SDCC 2022, Iron Studios showcased a preview of the "Jurassic Park-Icons" prototypes, including statues of T-Rex, Velociraptors, and Brachiosaurus. On the monthly YouTube show "Inside Iron Studios Day," the company detailed the line's upcoming releases and made the Jurassic World-inspired T-Rex, Compsognathus, and Velociraptor Blue statues available for pre-order. Many more dinosaurs from Jurassic Park and Jurassic World will soon join this collection, which has already earned the approval of fans and collectors eagerly awaiting its release.
