Illustrator neco’s original “N/DOLL” series joins Concept Masterline. A portrait of a young woman was the main image of neco’s first solo exhibition, “N/DOLL,” which also featured a sculpture by Carve Models. Prime 1 Studio brings this work, a symbol of the exhibition’s theme of “illustration × sculpture,” to life. The original sculpture’s dimensions were enlarged to 1/2 scale, and every detail was carefully refined to capture neco’s distinctive visual style with exceptional density. Finely sculpted eyelashes, pale violet blended into the irises, and the soft milky white of the sclera. Her cold, melancholic gaze is rendered with great attention to the delicate lines and serene palette of the illustration. The light greige hair was also constructed with carefully layered gradients and finished with subtle tonal contrast. The outfit is inspired by real-world techwear and pays special attention to the realistic textures of the surfaces. The industrial capsule and elegant flowers are also crafted down to the smallest detail, creating a striking contrast between the artificial and the natural. The specially designed base was created for this piece. Its simple, linear, square design complements the world of the artwork, while the carefully positioned connection point reinforces the impression that the figure is floating. Presented at 1/2 scale, “N/DOLL” is a highly detailed art piece that allows you to experience neco’s vision of “illustration × sculpture.”
